  Been bringing my pets here for about 13 years. We primarily see Dr. McCall. The doctors and staff are among the most caring, compassionate and personable folks you'd ever want to meet. My dog LOVES to go to the vet, because Dr. McCall is the Bringer of Cookies! The staff was very understanding and mourned with us when we had to put our cat down last year. Some folks say Capitol Illini is expensive, but I say that you get what you pay for. I wouldn't dream of taking my pets anywhere else.

  Our first visit to Capitol Illini was with a sick pup. Not exactly how we planned to be introduced to a new doctor. Dr. Marcum and the entire staff took great care of my girl. They even talked to our other dog who came along for moral support. Everything was explained and we discussed the tests that were done with respect to price and need. We are so happy to have found a place to take our babies as long as we live in Springfield.
