  We have had nothing but terrible service from this pharmacy. Our son has a medicine that needs to be compounded, and unfortunately, this is the only place to get it done in Springfield. Nearly every month they are late in having it ready, even after calling to confirm it is done. Last month they thought to avoid this problem by making it over a week early. Because of the nature of the medicine, it's only good 30 days after being compounded, and since they decided to do it early, it would not be good long enough to get our son through the month. After speaking to a lady and explaining why that it can't be done that early, she assured me that it would be remade a day before pick up. Instead they just changed the label date right in front of my husband! They never remade it and didn't care that the medicine would be ineffective towards the end of the thirty days. I spoke to the pharmacy yet again and told them how important this medicine is for our son, and how important it is that he doesn't take old medicine. The response I got? "Well there's nothing I can do about it." Flash forward to this month.... Supposed to be done on Saturday- wasn't. Closed Sunday. Husband went to pick up this afternoon (Monday)- Not done. Why are these people telling me that it's ready when it's not, and why are they consistently off schedule?! I wish I could go to another pharmacy. They don't take our insurance, so we pay full cash price, and it's nothing but a hassel every month. Incompetent and inconsiderate are the only words I can use to describe this business.
