  One of the best Restaurants in Springfield maybe in all of Illinois. Farm to table style, with creative dishes and changing menu. Excellent cocktails. My favorite restaurant when I feel I can splurge a little. Also has great brunch. Bottom line if it was not in a strip mall in Springfield it would probably have a Michelin star.

  American harvest is one of the nicest places in town. It boasts an ever changing menu with a focus on farm to table, locally grown meat and produce. They have a full bar with interesting seasonal cocktails. Wait staff is knowledgeable and courteous.
